If you can still pick this up, I was looking over old comments, and wondered what had become of your ideas re the aquarium in Varna?

Just to add that I am pretty sure that Varna would fit within one of the cross border Romania/ Bulgaria areas designated for ‘Interreg’ funding.

Thank you very much for your urgent and cogent reply . I hope that these combined efforts will prove tantalising enough to Varna authorities so as to progress the debate and further urgent action.

The relevant contents of your mail regarding EU funding and your advisory offer I have forwarded to my colleague in Varna to hand directly to the Zoo director ,together with our own submission to him and the municipality’s Mayor.

I have no idea of any time frame on the Bulgarian side, one never does. But I will keep you informed as and when and (if) they choose to correspond.
