Life+: funding potential for European zoos
Some 23 European zoos from 12 countries have chosen involvement in an advocacy programme to optimise the possibility of European zoos successfully bidding to the forthcoming LIFE+ funding instrument for the environment.
This programme also embraces overtures to, and information gathering from other funding agenda in the EU, as well as work to generally instil a greater appreciation of the positive work of zoos at senior EU levels.
